MANSFIELD AND DISTRICT –7 DAYS Sent on behalf of Mansfield District Commander Nick Butler.

 Crimes reported over the past 7 days, 12:00 2nd July 2019- 12:00 Noon 9th July 2019.

Only those areas with reported crimes are listed.

Berry Hill
Burglary  Dwelling;
Tuesday the 2nd July there was a theft of kitchen goods stolen from the building site on Black Scotch Lane to the value of £1500. Believe that entry was gained through on open upstairs window.
Monday the 8th July a property was broken into on berry Hill Road between the hours of 10am and 15.00 hours. Kitchen window had been forced.
Monday the 8th July a property broken into on Berry Hill Road. Kitchen window was broken and then back doors unlock to gain entry.  This happened during the day.
Burglary  Other Than Dwelling;
A detached garage was broken into overnight the 2nd July to the 3rd July on Sandhurst Avenue
An attempt break on a garden shed and a detached garage happened between the hours on Chatsworth Drive between the hours of 10.15 hours and 14.30 hours on Wednesday the 3rd July.
On Green Lane, a greenhouse and a garage were entered but nothing was taken happened between 22.00 hours on Wednesday the 3rd July and Thursday the 4th July.
Theft Other:
Childs scooter was stolen from Bessemer Drive on Tuesday the 8th July. It was taken between the hours of 15.30 hours and 16.00 hours.
Burglary  Dwelling;
Outbuilding was broken into on Sunday the 7th July. The door had been ripped of its frame. Carbon fibre bike has been stolen along with power tools.
Theft Other
Wiring was cut, copper piping was stolen and damage was caused to windows on a building site on Titchfield Street this happened on Monday the 8th July.
Burglary  Other Than Dwelling;
Southwell Road West a commercial property was entered and a radio was stolen from within. Entry was gained through an insecure door. This happened at 01.18hours on Monday the 8th July
Theft From Motor Vehicle:
A Ford Transit van was broken on Little Barn lane this happened between Monday the 8th July 20.30 hours and 07.30 hours on Tuesday the 9th July.
Forest Town West
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
A Peugeot   Speed fight 3 in blue moped was stolen on Tuesday the 2nd July at approx. 19.35 hours from Old Mill Lane.
A Peugeot Speed fight 3 in blue and black moped was stolen on Tuesday the 2nd July at approx. 19.47 hours from Fulmar Close.4 People wearing black balaclavas and in all black took the bike and made of 2 people on each bike.
Theft from:
A bag was stolen from a vehicle that was delivering food. Happened between 17.10 hours and 17.57 hours on Tuesday the 2nd July whist the vehicle was parked on Barringer Road.
Theft Other:
Hand tools were stolen for a building site on Oakland Road. This happened between 13.00hours in the 30th June   and Monday the 1st July. The incident was reported to the police on the 2nd July.
A wallet was stolen after it was left on a kids ride in a superstore on Old Mill Lane. On returning to the ride it had gone. This happened on Friday the 5th July
Grange Farm
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
A Renault Megane in silver has been stolen from Brick Kiln Lane. Not seen for about a month, but reported to the police on Wednesday the 3rd July
Burglary  Other Than Dwelling;
Attempt break on a garage on Ladybrook Place. This happened between the hours of 17.00 on Tuesday the 2nd July and 08.10 on Wednesday the 3rd July. The lock was damaged but entry was not gained.
Theft From Motor Vehicle:
A car was broken into overnight between 00.10 hours and 06.30 hours Tuesday the 9th July on Davey Road. The locks were damaged and the small passenger window was smashed to gain entry.
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
Attempted theft of a motorbike occurred on Tuesday 2nd July at 20.58 hours. Two people covered their faces and were disturbed attempting to cut the lock off the bike. They both made off on another motorbike.
Burglary Other:
Garage on Ashworth Drive was broken into between the hours on 15.00hourson Tuesday the 4th July and 08.15 hours on Friday the 5th July. 2 Locks were forced off and work tools were stolen.
Burglary  Dwelling;
The Close Rainworth, a property was broken into at approximately 15.15 hours on Tuesday the 15th July. Access was gained through the window to the bedroom. Nothing stolen, it is believed that burglars were disturbed by the owners when they returning home.
Monday the 8th July, a house was broken into on Helmsley Road Rainworth, the front door has been forced open. This happened between 12.30 hours and 13.30 hours.
Burglary  Other Than Dwelling;
A garage on Lindhurst Lane has had tools stolen between 09.00-17.00 hours on Wednesday the 3rd July. The side gate to the property has also been damaged.
Garage on Flintham Court has been broken into and items have been stolen from the rear garden. This was reported to the police on Friday the 5th July.
Theft Other:
A trailer stolen from a unit at Woodside Farm this happened at 00.39 hours on Monday the 8th July.
Burglary  Other Than Dwelling;
On Tuesday the 2nd July Maun Close, Industrial Estate a concrete post has been put through the roller shutter and then ripped off. This happened at 21.00 hours.
Theft From Motor Vehicle:
A bumper was stolen from a car whilst it was parked on Stockwell Gate Mansfield between the hours of 12.00 Hour s and 17.00 hours on Tuesday the 2nd July.
A mobile phone was stole after it was left in a car that was parked on Derby Street. This happened at approximately 20.30 hours on Saturday the 6th July.
An Astra car was broken in too Tuesday the 9th July at 01.00 hours whilst it was parked on a driveway on Fisher Lane. Items were stolen from within.
Theft Other
A steel bolard was cut off and stolen from outside a business between Friday 5th July at 17.00 hours and 08.10 hours on Monday the 8th July.
Burglary  Dwelling;
Entry was gained to an empty property on Mount Pleasant reported to the police on Monday the 8th July.  Door had been kicked in.
Theft Other
A bag was stolen whilst it was hanging from a trolley whilst in the car park area of a super store on Chesterfield Road. This happened at 13.00 hours on Thursday the 4 th July

Robin Hood:
Theft Other:
On Tuesday the 2nd July at approximately 1pm a male made off from a taxi without making payment. The male was dropped off on Mapletoft Avenue.
Theft Of Motor vehicle:
 A Wanga Matrix Moped in black was stolen from Vallance Street between Friday the 28th June and Wednesday the 3rd June. The moped was left secured by chains to both wheels.
Theft From Motor Vehicle:
Number Plate from the front of a vehicle has been reported stolen from a car parked on Stranraer Close. This happened between 17.00hours on Saturday the 6th July and Sunday the 7th July.

Theft Other:
Push Bike in fluorescent lime green was stolen from St Peters Retail Park. Active is written on the cross bar. This happened at approximately 15.00 hours on Wednesday the 3rd July.
 I Phone was stolen from the hand of the user, by two males on a moped, this happened on Leeming Street Mansfield, at 17.30 hours on Friday the 5th July.
Theft Of Motor vehicle:
Blue and white Lex Moto 125 scooter has been stolen from car park on Clumber Street this happened between 09.30 hours and 11.00 hours on Friday the 5th July.
Warsop / Birklands:
Theft  from Motor vehicle:
On Saturday the 6th  July a VW Polo was stolen from Lime Crescent between 03.30 and 10.30 hours in the morning.
